Morro Bay offers fun activities year round such as whale watching. During the fall, there are also exciting events to take part in as well. Check out some of these Morro Bay events in the fall.

Morro Bay Harbor Festival

Get ready for the 38th annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival taking place October 4th through October 6th. The event is located along the Embarcadero and will feature local music performances including a performance by Chris Farmer, former vocalist/bassist of the Beach Boys, as he puts on a fantastic Beach Boys/Eagles tribute show. Visit the website for more information about this exciting festival.

Skeleton Saturday at Morro Bay Natural History Museum

Located at the Morro Bay Natural History Museum on October 19th, come and enjoy this unique and fun event. If October is the month for skeletons, check out the Natural History Museum’s collection of real skeletons, bones, skulls, and teeth from bats and bears to whales and dolphins and many more! The event will be from 10am to 2pm.

Morro Bay Sings Dinner

Brought to you by the Morro Bay Community Center, the Morro Bay Sings is an event offered to raise funds for the community of Estero Bay. On Saturday, October 12th, enjoy a night of music honoring The Beach Boys. Music will be performed by Jody Mulfrew and Voix! An A Cappella Group featuring members of Cuesta College Voce. There will also be a silent and live auction! All funds for the event will benefit children in Estero Bay Communities.

Morro Bay Embarcadero Art Walk

Every Friday night, enjoy a stroll along the beautiful waterfront of Morro Bay. As you walk along the Embarcadero, take in the beautiful art pieces from local artists. There will be art, crafts, handcrafted jewelry and more! There will even be refreshments and music that is offered by participating restaurants, galleries and shops.
